Mothering Frank has received no mothering as his mother left soon after his birth, and followed the same pattern when his younger brother Paul was born. Frank thinks that women are good for nothing, except giving birth - but he does have some respect for Jamie's mother. Frank has a very negative view of women
in general and expects them to wish to undermine and belittle men. |
